Regardless of which parameter page you are currently editing, once the preview matches your design requirements, simply click Create Part above the preview window to proceed to the nesting interface.

After the parts are generated, continue with the standard workflow: nesting, sorting, and exporting.

Ⅲ.Parameters for Simple-Security Grille

1.Appearance

(1)Handle Position: Specifies the installation position of the handle on the security grille door. You can install the handle on the Left or Right side.

(2)Frame Style:  Select Close or Open.

        • Close: Adds one horizontal bar to both the top and bottom of the frame.
        • Open: No horizontal bars are added to the top or bottom of the frame.

(3)Joint Style

This option is available only when Frame Style is set to Close.

Select Straight or Tilt.

The difference is whether the joint is cut straight or at a 45° miter.

(4)Makeup Position

This option is available only when Frame Style is set to Close and Joint Style is set to Straight.

Select Extend length or Extend height.

        • Extend length: Fills the corner using the long side.
        • Extend height: Fills the corner using the height side.

2.Section

You need configure detailed section information for the Frame and Inner Bars.

Available section types include:

      • Circular Tube
      • Square Tube
      • Rectangular Tube

3.Dimensions

You need configure detailed information for the Installation Dimensions, Handle Dimensions, Inner Bars and Mounting Hole.

(1)Installation Dimensions: Configure the height and length of the security grille.

(2)Handle Dimensions: Configure the length, height and location of the handle.

    •

(3)Inner Bars: Configure the maximum spacing of the simple security grille. Equal division in middle and Equal division in 3 sections are available.

Notice: Spacing means the clear horizontal distance between two adjacent members.

(Equal division in middle)

(Equal division in 3 sections)

(4)Mounting Hole

      • Installation: You can select Front-mounted or Side-mounted.

Notice: Ensure that the mounting holes do not overlap with the holes on the inner bar.

      • Holes each side: Specifies the number of mounting holes on each side of the outer frame. Range: 2 to 999.

For example, if this parameter is set to 4, the result is shown below.

      • First hole to top: Specifies the distance from the top of the security grille to the center of the first mounting hole. Range: 1 mm to 999 mm.

      • Last hole to bottom: Specifies the distance from the bottom of the security grille to the center of the last mounting hole. Range: 1 mm to 999 mm.

      • Front hole: Specifies the diameter of the mounting holes on the front side of the outer frame. Range: 0.1 mm to 9999 mm.

      • Back hole: Specifies the diameter of the mounting holes on the back side of the outer frame. Range: 0.1 mm to 9999 mm.

Notice: Both First hole to top and Last hole to bottom must be greater than half of the hole diameter.

4.Assembly

You need configure Assembly, Technique, Quantity of Sets, and Parts List.

(1)Assembly

Defines how components are connected. Assembly methods can be configured for Position A, Position B and Position C.

Three assembly methods are available:

      • Marking layer for welding
      • Cutting layer for assembly
      • No assembly

Marking layer for welding

Using Position A  as an example:

A saddle feature is cut on the post, which is welded to the handrail. Welding marks are added to the handrail. No tube hole is created.

Cutting layer for assembly

Using Position A as an example:

A tube hole is cut on the handrail. The post is inserted into the tube hole and no saddle feature is cut on the post.

When this assembly method is selected, Rails in tenon depth can be configured.

Rails in tenon depth specifies how deep the post is inserted into the handrail during assembly. It affects connection strength and stability and should be set according to actual application requirements.

No assembly

Using Position A (Flat) as an example:

A saddle feature is cut on the post, which is welded to the handrail. No welding marks are added and no tube hole is created.

    •

(2) Technique

For cutoff line, the following options are available: Weld Seam Compensation, Bevel and No Technique.

For tube holes, the following options are available: Intersect Hole, Maximum Outline, Bevel and No Technique.

(3) Quantity of Sets: Specifies the number of stair railing sets to generate.

(4) Parts List

      • Parts Name: Supports custom part names. By default, part names are generated based on the component type and dimensional parameters.
      • Total: Displays the quantity of each part required for the selected number of sets.
      •  Length (mm)Qty: Click the top right corner to obtain the required tube length and quantity for the generated parts.

*The displayed length is for reference only. Actual part lengths shown in the cutting software shall prevail.

Ⅳ. FAQs

1.Can the generated parts be modified in the Draw Part (TubeDraw) interface?

No. If you need to edit the generated parts, use the Add Stair Part feature instead. Although it cannot generate a complete stair railing set automatically, the resulting parts can be modified afterward.

2.How can identical parts be merged?

Enable Merge Identical Parts in User Settings.
