TubesT - Part Drawing- Marking

Ⅰ. Overview

When marking parts with symbols or similar elements requires only leaving a marking trace without cutting through the material, you can achieve this by setting the process parameters of the corresponding color layer to marking parameters. The following section explains how to generate marking toolpaths directly within TubesT during the drawing process.

Ⅱ. Function Description

1.Permissions

Starting with version 1.47, the I-beam web now supports drawing double-sided marking paths within the software.
To use this feature, please first check your software version. If you have an older version, click here to upgrade your nesting software.

2.Procedures

In the 【Assign Technique】layer settings, select your marking layer.

After drawing a branch pipe, check [Marking] to assign marking attributes to it, turning the branch pipe blue. Supports generating non-closed shapes in smart drawings.

Supports double-sided marking on I-beam flanges. Check both 【Through All】and 【Marking】.

III. Application Examples

1. Supports generating nested contours: 《How to Process In-part shape(Nested Contours )on Tube Surfaces》

2. Drawing sheet metal parts: 《How to Process Sheet Metal Parts Using Tube Cutting Methods》

3. Drawing a new marking line around the circumference: How to Draw a Marking Line Around a Cross-Section

Note: For externally imported parts, refer to the tutorial 【TubesT - How to Mark】.
