TubesT - Details about Tube File Formats

Ⅰ. Overview

 

The role of nesting in production is to automatically generate toolpaths according to the part drawings. On the basis of taking into account the actual production safety and efficiency, the parts are arranged on the tube in the most material-saving way, and the sequence is arranged for each toolpath of the parts, and then sent to the cutting machine for processing, as shown in the following figure:

Notice: You can draw parts directly in TubesT, no need to import files from other software.

For different software, the file formats are various. Below is the detailed introduction.

 

 

Ⅱ. Function Description

 

1.The file formats supported by different software:

***CypTube supports importing IGS format files; the file format saved by CypTube is  *.ctds (version 6.4.940 and after) and  *.ctd (previous versions).
