Select Contour Type in the Drawing Processing Interface

Function Background

When you import drawings into CypNest, there may be some small graphics that need to be modified or deleted in the drawings. But there are many contours in the drawing, selecting each one might be troublesome, so that you can batch select different contours in the Drawing Processing interface.

 

Function Explanation

In the nesting interface, enter the Drawing Processing interface from [ Import parts from drawings (Recommended)]. In drawing status (non-part status), click [Select]  to see many selection types available.

PS: If your drawing is imported as part, you need to first select the part, then right-click to break part to drawing. So that the following operations can be performed.

 

 

 

Non-part status, that is, in drawing status:

    • Select Open Graphic: After clicking this button, all open graphics in the drawing will be selected.

    • Select Similar Graph/ Similar Graph (angle sensitive): First select a contour you want to batch select  (the contour must be closed). If the contours are the same or similar, Click the button. Then similar contours will be batch selected.

 

    • Select All Outer Contour/Inner Contour: The contour must be closed, clicking these two buttons can batch select outer contour or inner contour.

    • Select Layer: You can choose different color layers.

 

    • Smaller than (size range): Contours within the size range can be selected.

    • Select All Polyline /Circle /Bezier / Points / Texts: That is, select contours of polyline, circle, bezier curve, point or text.
