Function Background

When you want outer contour of part to be cut counterclockwise (CCW), and the imported part outer contour is clockwise (CW), modifying one by one is quite troublesome, you can use [Fix Outer Contour Direction] to solve the problem.

 

Function Explanation

    • Function Location: You will enter into the Pre-Processing interface when importing drawings, and you can set part outer contour direction here.

 

 

  • Note:
    • After checking, the cutting direction of the part outer contour will be determined when importing the part.
    • When you sort the parts, and do not want to change the cutting direction, you need to set "Forbid direction change".

 

Inner Contour Cutting Direction

Need to enter the Part Editing interface or double-click the part in the nesting area;

Select the inner contour to be set;

Set its cutting direction.
