1.The Overcut of co-edge toolpath is called Pre-cutting in some software.
2.Setting overcut can prevent the cutting head from colliding with the plate:When cutting the first part, the toolpath cuts an additional distance (overcut distance) into the adjacent part. If the first part warps after cutting, the warped area will be avoided when cutting the second part, and the cutting will start from the light-on position to prevent collision with the warped part.
3.Taking the rectangle at the bottom left as an example, it can be seen that when cutting the first part, an overcut distance is cut into the adjacent part (as shown in the red frame).

1.Over cut Distance: When parts share one edge, an additional distance is cut into the adjacent part when cutting the first part, and this distance is called Over cut distance.
2.Over cut path cut once: After overcutting, the cutting head returns to the first part to continue cutting. Whether to turn off the light during this return path is controlled by this option.
3.Laser on Distance: After cutting the first part, when cutting the second part, the cutting head will pass through the previously overcut section. The laser-on distance on this section is set here.
