CypNest - How to First Nest Large Parts

Do you know how should we operate when we want to nest large parts first and then small ones?

Preliminary Steps

1.Select all parts in the Part List on the left.

2.Right-click — Rotate to the Best Angle Selected Parts.

3.All parts will now be rotated to the horizontal direction. Click the order button at the top, select Order by Part Length, and switch between ascending/descending order.

4.Click Unselect All, then re-select the long parts that need to be nested on the plate first.

Method 1: Set Part Priority

1.Click Part List to set the part priority (a smaller value indicates a higher priority).

2.Click Auto Nest and select All Parts in the List. Click Advanced Parameters, check Use Part Priority, and select the processing method for low-priority parts as needed.

Method 2: Nest Parts in Batches

1.Click Auto Nest and select Selected Parts to perform nesting.

2.Click Auto Nest again, select All Parts in the List, and uncheck Clear nest results first, do not revert extra parts.
