Background

If you want to batch change text font and size in CypNest after importing the drawings, you can use [Batch Edit Text Font].

 

Operation Methods and Precautions

1. Function Location

Drawing Processing interface: Click [Import Parts from Drawings (recommended)] in the nesting interface to enter.

 

 

CypDraw interface: Click the [Draw Parts] to enter.

 

Part Editing interface: Right-click on the part in the left part list in the nesting interface and click [Edit This Part] to enter.

 

2. Operation Steps

In the main nesting interface, after importing drawings through [Import Parts from Drawings (recommended)], you can select text when drawings are in drawing status (non-part status, that is, the part is not filled in blue). Then right-click, select [Text Font], you can also directly right-click to select [Text Font].

PS: If your drawing is just parts after importing, you need to first select the part, then right-click - Break parts to drawing, then the above operations can be performed.

 

 

 

3. Parameter Description

 

Font: You can choose text font; the commonly used style is single-line text, suffix. Font with the .shx extension are single-line fonts.

Height/Width/Angle: The height/width/angle of the text can be set according to requirements.
