Nesting and Boost

What is Boost

There are two Nest Methods in CloudNest: 【Nesting】 and 【Boost】.

【Nesting】: When you select parts of the same material and thickness under a certain task's Part List,

Click 【Nesting】, select the appropriate board, you can enter the Nest Interface, save after Nest completion and return Back to CloudNest,

a corresponding results will be generated in the layout results column.

 

【Boost】: You can Check parts freely under the Part List in a certain task, click 【Boost】,The system automatically completes the Nest, quickly generating the corresponding Nest Task.

If your Part List contains parts of multiple materials, thicknesses, and gases, it is recommended to use Boost.

 

Function usage

1. Check the parts that need Nesting, click 【Boost】.

 

2. Check 【Experience boost】 to enjoy cloud super nest Boost

If you already have supercomputing access, this option is checked by default, and you can directly use the supercomputing flying queue.

If you do not have supercomputing permissions, you can select to experience "Idle Supercomputing," meaning your tasks will be queued after submission.

Wait for the supercomputer Nest.

You can click 【Boost Upgrade】 to purchase supercomputer access

 

3. You can choose 【Direct Boost】 or 【Custom Boost】

(1) Direct Boost:

Direct Boost will use the system-recommended Laser Params and board material

Note: The Plate Lib needs to have the corresponding material and thickness of the board.

If the Plate Lib does not have the material and thickness of the Check parts, it will prompt us "Current plate is empty".

Need to add the corresponding board material

 

(2) Custom Boost:

When boosting for parts of multiple materials and thicknesses at the same time, you can set the Boost Parameters,

Set different board specifications and Nest Parameters for parts of different materials and thicknesses.

Set different Boost Parameters for different Nest Tasks, click 【Confirm】

 

You can perform other operations while waiting for the Boost results

 

After the Nest is finished, click 【Layout Results】 to check the arranged results
