CloudNest - Intelligent Recognition of Parts Information

CloudNest offers multiple methods for intelligently identifying part properties such as material, thickness, and quantity. There is no fixed format requirement.

 

Drawing File Name Recognition

Applicable Scenario: Batch import drawings whose file names contain part information. Click here to watch the demo video.

Operation Steps

1.Click Add Parts.

2.Import the part drawings.

3.Click Ctrl + A to  select all parts on the drawing.

4.Click Set as Parts.

5.Parts are automatically grouped into the Part List.

6.Click Identify Part Information from Text.

7.Based on the drawings's file names, the system intelligently identifies the required material, thickness, quantity, and other information for nesting.

 

Box Selection Recognition (Smart Group Disabled)

Applicable Scenario: The drawing contains one or more parts sharing a single set of part information.  Click here to watch the demo video.

Operation Steps

1.Click Add Parts.

2.Import the part drawing (containing one type of part and one set of part information).

3.Left-click and drag to select graphics and texts on the drawing.

4.Click Set as Parts.

5.Click Identify Part Information from Text.

6.The system intelligently identifies the parts’s material, thickness, and quantity.

 

Box Selection Recognition (Smart Group Enabled)

Applicable Scenario: The drawing contains multiple parts corresponding to multiple sets of part information.  Click here to watch the demo video.

Operation Steps

1.Click Add Parts.

2.Import the part drawing (containing multiple parts and multiple sets of part information).

3.Click Identify Text Config in the Identify Part Information from Text drop-down Menu.

4.Enable Smart Group.

5.Press Ctrl + A to select all graphics and text,  and click Set as Parts.

6.Click Identify Part Information from Text.

7.The system intelligently identifies the material, thickness, and quantity for each part.

 

Hybrid Recognition

Applicable Scenario: Drawings with multiple parts where annotations are placed inside the parts. Click here to watch the demo video.

Operation Steps

1.Click Add Parts to import the part drawing.

2.Press Ctrl + A to select all graphics and texts and then click Set as Parts.

3.Click Identify Part Information from Text to intelligently identify the part’s material, thickness, and quantity.
