CloudNest - General Workflow for Connecting Tekla with FACut

Function Description

CloudNest can directly import *.t2f files exported from Tekla, automatically add bevels, perform nesting, and then pushing the tasks to FACut with a single click. This seamless integration from drawings to manufacturing greatly enhances the efficiency of the entire workflow.

 

Prerequisites

  • Tekla is installed.
  • CypWizard is installed in Tekla. Click here to install the plugin.
  • CypNest: Version 2023V3 or higher, with the Bevel Nest function during installation.
     
  • FACut: Version 2023E or higher.

 

General Steps

  1. Open Tekla → Select parts → TUBESTCypWizard → Export the file in *.t2f format.
  2. Open CloudNest → Add PartsImport Tekla plug-in Part (.t2f).
  3. Enter the Bevel Nesting Plug-in interface → Import Tekla Set bevel rules → Batch import *.t2f files → Click OK.
  4. Enter the Drawing Processing interface → Check part information → Click OK.
  5. Parts are successfully uploaded to the CloudNest Part List → Select parts →  Nest and Sort → Save and return to CloudNest.
  6. Select the nested result → Push to FACut → The processing files are successfully imported into FACut.
