Function description

Cloud Report allows exporting nest, part, and plate information in a report format, making it easier for you to review nesting details. You can customize your own exclusive report template based on your personal needs.

Compared to Old Report, Custom Report features optimized interface and interaction design, enabling faster loading and more user-friendly operation.

Operation steps

Check the required nest results and click Custom Report (recommended).            

If you are new users of the Report feature, you will see the system's preset template applied automatically.

• • Customize your own template and click Save as to make it a new template.

  • Click Export Excel/PDF to get reports in Excel/PDF format.

  • Click Print to directly print the report.

Customize a report template

1. Title Information

Title content: The main heading displayed at the top of the report. You can enter custom text or click on the parameters provided below for insertion.

Title Information Displayed Per Page: When checked, the title will appear on every page; when unchecked, it will only show on the first page.

In the real-time preview area, you can configure your brand logo and additional information.

2. Nest Result Info & Summary

Nest result info: Displays information related to the nesting results.

Summary: Displays overview information for all checked nesting setups, including nesting and part details.

Eye icon: Use the icon to toggle the display of a specific module or parameter.

Gear icon: Click the icon marking a certain parameter to configure its specific settings (e.g. units, decimal places, etc.).

Up-Down Arrow: Move the icon forward or backward to reposition parameters in the report.

Custom Field: If the fields provided do not meet your needs, you may set up custom fields and define their calculation formulas, which can be edited or deleted later. When filling in the Field name and Field value sections, you may use the basic fields below to input formulas.

Arithmetic operators: Plus, Minus, Times, Divide, and Brackets

Extended Property: Enter a extended property name to display extended information on the Report. For detailed instructions, please refer to How the Report displays part extended information fields.

Convert to Pinyin: Enter a field within brackets, and the report will display the Pinyin of that field.

Unit: Customize the unit of a field.

QRCode: Enter a field within brackets which will be displayed as a QR code on the report. The field value can be viewed by scanning the code.

Example: To calculate Total Pierce Price, enter Pierce qty*Price Pierce.

The pierce price can be preset on the quotation parameter page.

3. Page Setup

Layout Type: Set the visual configuration of report information, which can be previewed in real time.

Print Size:  A4 or A3.

Print Direction: Vertical or Horizontal view

Each module starts with a new page: When checked, each module (e.g., Nest Result Info, Summary) will begin on a separate page.

Each result starts with a new page: When checked, each nesting result will begin on a new page.

4. Other Settings

Custom Fields Carry Formulas：Custom fields calculated using operators will carry calculation formulas when exported to Excel.
