Function Description
In the steel structure industry, there is a type of web plate with bolt holes at both ends. During laser cutting and welding, thermal expansion and contraction can cause errors in the distance between the bolt holes at both ends. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the hole spacing based on practical processing experience to ensure the post-processing hole spacing meets standard specifications. This can be achieved using the Batch Web Welding Compensation function in CloudNest.
Operation Steps
In the part list, check the parts requiring hole spacing adjustments. Click Batch Modify → Batch Web Welding Compensation.
Set Length adjustment based on practical experience.
Take the following example.
Distance between the inner holes of the part: 640
Distance between the inner holes and the outer frame of the part: 80
If the distance between the inner holes is increased by 50:
The distance between the inner holes becomes 690, while the distance between the holes and the outer frame remains unchanged.
Length adjustment applies to the vertical pair of parallel lines. Non-parallel lines cannot be modified.
Negative values cannot be entered. Hole spacing can only be increased, not decreased.
The default adjustment value is 10, with a maximum limit of 100.
The spacing between the inner holes and the edge contour of the part remains unchanged. The distance between the centers of the holes at both ends is adjusted according to the set value.
Multiple parts can be selected and adjusted in batches.
If a part does not meet the modification criteria, a prompt will be displayed.
